Viewing

We would like to meet you in person – and you should of course know what you are moving into. A viewing is therefore required.

Viewing on site

After your enquiry we arrange an appointment. You see the room and the shared areas, and you can ask us anything directly.

Video viewing

If you do not live in the region yet, or travelling here is not an option, we offer a live video call. You see the room in real time without having to make the trip.

Tenancy agreement & documents

No paperwork battle – we keep this as simple as possible.

What you need

Just a photo or scan of your valid ID (Swiss ID card, passport or residence permit). No debt register extract, no proof of salary, no letter from your employer.

Tenancy agreement

We send you the tenancy agreement digitally. As soon as you return it signed, the room is reserved for you. The agreement also lets you register officially with the municipality of Zug.

Payment

You transfer the first month's rent plus the deposit (one month's rent). Cash payment is also possible. You receive the keys once this is settled.

4

Moving in

Everything paid, agreement signed? Then welcome to your new home!

Handing over the keys

Depending on availability we either hand you the keys in person or you collect them from a secure key safe – which means you can move in whenever it suits you, including evenings and weekends.

Your room

The room is cleaned thoroughly before you move in. You will find fresh bed linen, a clean mattress cover and labelled storage space in the shared kitchen and bathroom.

5

Giving notice

You stay as long as it suits you. Giving notice is just as straightforward as moving in.

Notice period

Depending on your agreement you can give 14 or 30 days' notice – to the middle or the end of a month. The exact terms are always stated in your contract.

Submitting your notice

Send us an email to info@zimmer-in-zug.ch or a registered letter by post. We confirm the termination in writing as quickly as possible.

Please note: notice cannot be given between 1 December and 15 January; in that case the tenancy end date automatically moves to 15 January.
